tour kickoff was hella fun. I was totally depressed from 10 to 11 when there was no one there but suddenly enough kids showed to make it all worthwhile. Fight Pretty blew me away. Once they started playing I officially got stoked for tour. They are awesome dudes and are an awesome band.
The next night in CT was good. Kids went off for fight pretty I was happy for them. we got stuck headlining so we didn't play to many kids but we still put it down hard. I'm finding I'm playing harder to less kids. Gotta make it worth it for them plus if we blow them away they'll tell their friends. Gotta hustle. went to joey from the horry story's house after the show. he was nice enough to put us up from the night.
Long island with the carrier was eh. headlining sucks and unless we're like hatebreed huge I never want to. The carrier are just about the biggest new band in hardcore and they played to no one. fight pretty had a rough night due to technical difficulties. they still were good I could just tell they were frustrated. kills and thrills are good kids. hope they keep it up and keep their youthful positive attitude. matt from crime in stero was kind enough to put us up for the night. dude fucking rules. he needs to be our bassplayer.
the van troubles have started already. I'm pretty sure the trailer or the wire harness for the trailer is causing a short somewhere and blowing fuses. we have no running lights on the trailer. GRRRR. I'm going to bring it to uhaul today and hopefully get this shit squared away. if not we're gonna be punk and just not hook up the harness. fuck electrical systems.
we're at nancy pant's house in williamsburg right now. The show last night was fun but not very well attended. we still killed it and had fun. Not going to lie it was pretty low key last night. We usually rage pretty hard here. maybe being sunday was a factor or the fact that we're broke.
of course I grabbed the vegan in fight pretty and brought him to food swings. I'm waiting patiently for everyone to get up so I can get bagel smith. then we're off to jersey and trying to figure out what's up with the trailer.
